Procurement Manager
The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the supply of goods and services required by the organization.
The role ensures cost-effectiveness, quality standards, and timely delivery while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery performance
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors
- Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant departments for procurement needs
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any supply issues
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE procurement regulations
- Coordinate with finance for invoice processing and payments
- Handle vendor performance reviews and maintain long-term relationships
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
- Proven experience as a Procurement Officer within UAE
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software/ERP systems
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
