We're Hiring: MEP Cost Control Engineer
We are looking for a detail-oriented
MEP Cost Control Engineer
to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control MEP project costs against approved budgets
- Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and variance analysis for MEP packages
- Track committed costs, actual costs, and value of work done
- Review and validate subcontractor invoices and payment applications
- Manage and assess variation orders, claims, and change requests
- Prepare cost-to-complete and cash flow projections
- Perform quantity take-offs and verify BOQ items for MEP disciplines
- Coordinate with planning, procurement, and project teams on cost matters
- Support budget preparation and re-baselining for MEP works
- Ensure cost control procedures comply with company and contractual requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
- Proven experience in cost control for MEP works in construction/contracting
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, BOQs, and quantity surveying principles
- Proficiency in cost control software and advanced Excel
- Solid understanding of contracts, variations, and claims
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills
