Full-time, on-site MEP BIM Modeler role based in Chennai, focused on detailed Building Information Models for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
The modeler collaborates with engineers, architects, and project teams to coordinate layouts, resolve design conflicts, and deliver construction documentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate 3D plumbing BIM models using Revit.
- Prepare plumbing layouts, shop drawings, and detailed construction drawings.
- Coordinate plumbing systems with HVAC, electrical, and other MEP disciplines.
- Identify and resolve clashes using BIM coordination tools such as Navisworks.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and UAE regulations.
- Interpret drawings, update models based on design changes, review documentation, and deliver outputs on schedule.
Qualifications and experience
- 3–12 years of experience.
- Education in mechanical, civil, or electrical engineering.
- Immediate or short-notice joining is preferred.
Schedule
- General shift with overlap into UAE business hours.
- Five working days per week; Saturday and Sunday are weekly days off.
Work location
- Work from office at DLF IT Park, Manapakkam, Chennai.
