Medical Billing Specialist

Remote Medical Billing Specialist Qualifications: All potential candidates must have strong communication, organizational and analytical skills.

Working knowledge and experience in analyzing medical claims.

Strong knowledge of EMR software, medical billing applications, CPT codes, ICD-10, and insurance web portals and OON experience.

Manage claim submission process end-to-end through submission, response, and final payment Understand and communicate insurance billing & patient responsibility (in/out of network, deductibles, copays, co-insurance, out of pocket max) internally and to clients Denial Management Prepare and submit claim appeals with insurance companies Follow-up with payers to ensure timely resolution of all outstanding claims, via phone, emails, fax, or websites Perform special projects and other duties as needed.
