Overview

  • We are hiring for Media Production Officer
  • The Media Production Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering high‑quality audiovisual content and comprehensive media coverage for institutional events, initiatives, and communication programs.
  • The role oversees end‑to‑end video and audio production workflows, ensuring consistency with KAHRAMAA’s communication objectives, brand identity, and quality standards.
  • Acting as a central coordination and production lead within the PR & Communications Department, the position manages institutional media coverage and the full lifecycle of podcast programs, ensuring professional execution, timely delivery, accurate documentation, and performance reporting across all audiovisual outputs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate audiovisual production activities, including pre‑production, production, and post‑production stages.
  • Develop creative briefs, scripts, narratives, storyboards, and shot lists aligned with approved communication objectives.
  • Oversee filming, recording, editing, and post‑production activities to ensure timely and high‑quality delivery of audiovisual materials.
  • Supervise production crews and vendors during on‑site filming and recording to ensure technical excellence and adherence to approved standards.
  • Plan and manage full media coverage for events, ceremonies, announcements, and official engagements.
  • Coordinate photographers, videographers, and external production companies to ensure comprehensive and accurate documentation.
  • Ensure effective on‑ground coordination during live events and fast‑turnaround production requirements.
  • Manage the complete podcast production lifecycle, including editorial planning, guest identification and coordination, recording, editing, publishing, and distribution. **Ensure consistency in quality, messaging, tone, and branding across all podcast episodes.** Track podcast performance indicators (e.g., downloads, engagement, retention) and prepare periodic performance reports with recommendations for improvement.
  • **Maintain organized media archives, libraries, metadata, and audiovisual asset repositories.** Ensure proper documentation, naming conventions, and version control for all produced materials.
  • **Track production timelines, submissions, approvals, and final outputs for reference and audit purposes.**
  • Ensure all audiovisual outputs comply with KAHRAMAA’s brand identity, visual standards, quality requirements, and approval workflows.
  • **Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy, professionalism, and consistency across all produced media materials.**
  • Support PR & Communications leadership by maintaining standards and mitigating reputational or quality risks.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in media, Communications, Journalism, Film Production, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of professional experience in video production, broadcast production, or podcast/audio production roles.
  • Proven experience managing end‑to‑end audiovisual production for institutional or corporate environments.
  • Experience coordinating production crews, vendors, and on‑site teams is required.
  • Strong technical knowledge of video and audio production, including camera operation, lighting, sound, framing, and editing workflows.
  • Proficiency in audio and video production tools (e.g., Adobe Audition, Pro Tools) and on‑site/mobile recording equipment.
  • Ability to supervise production teams and ensure delivery under time‑sensitive or live production conditions.
  • Strong planning, coordination, and vendor management skills.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to quality standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast‑paced environments and manage multiple production activities simultaneously.
  • Professional, organized, and capable of handling high‑profile institutional content with discretion.
