Mechanical Engineer III

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field required Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional engineering experience, ideally within a heavy industrial or manufacturing setting. Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering concepts , internal standards, practices, and procedures. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software for both mechanical structures and electrical/electronic systems. Broad knowledge of electrical/electronic control circuits , power systems, and electronic components. Strong understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes , with specialized emphasis on sheet metal and industrial fabrication. Familiarity with industry-specific standards , regulations, and competitor product capabilities. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address varied and complex technical challenges. Well-developed interpersonal and written communication skills , specifically for technical report writing and cross-departmental collaboration. Briggs and Stratton For this position, the expected base annual salary range is $80,000-130,000 commensurate with experience. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
