Electrical Test Engineer III

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing lithium-ion battery cells, modules, packs, or battery energy storage systems. Experience with battery cyclers, electronic loads, power supplies, environmental chambers, DAQ systems, or high-voltage test equipment. Experience with CAN/CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet, or other automotive/industrial communications protocols. Experience testing and validating BMS functionality, including voltage/current measurement, SOC/SOH estimation, balancing, protection functions, fault handling, and diagnostics. Experience with automated test systems and scripting languages such as Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar. Experience with requirements management and test-management tools. Experience performing electrical safety, insulation resistance, dielectric withstand, leakage current, or isolation testing. Familiarity with battery standards and regulatory requirements such as UL, IEC, ISO, SAE, or UN transportation requirements. Experience with high-voltage battery systems and associated safety practices. Experience with statistical analysis, Design of Experiments (DOE), reliability testing, or accelerated life testing. Experience developing automated validation frameworks or hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test systems.
