Mechanical Site Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor mechanical works at site according to approved drawings, methods and safety rules.
- Estimate and assign manpower, materials, consumables, equipment and tools before execution.
- Analyze construction methodologies and recommend options to the MEP Manager for approval.
- Interpret construction drawings and review contract documents, standards and specifications.
- Provide technical support to mechanical work groups and coordinate mechanical works with electrical works.
- Set and monitor daily targets for mechanical groups; support the MEP Manager in achieving group targets.
- Submit site reports, inspection requests, estimates and monitoring reports.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, contract documents, project specifications and applicable quality, safety, sanitary and environmental standards.
- Carry out mechanical works and equipment installation; attend regular client meetings.
- Resolve site technical difficulties and collaborate with cost control and planning on daily progress reports.
- Lead site personnel to complete work on time.
Requirements
- 6 to 7 years of UAE experience is required.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Must be able to reliably commute to Abu Dhabi or plan to relocate before starting work.
