Job Responsibilities
- Prepare mechanical shop drawings, installation drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop HVAC duct layouts, chilled water piping layouts, and ventilation drawings.
- Prepare equipment layouts, sections, details, and mechanical installation drawings.
- Prepare drawings for air conditioning systems, exhaust systems, fresh air systems, and ventilation systems.
- Coordinate mechanical drawings with electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and other MEP services.
- Review drawings against approved design drawings, project specifications, and consultant requirements.
- Incorporate consultant comments and revise drawings as required.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable UAE standards, project specifications, and authority requirements.
- Coordinate with mechanical engineers, MEP coordinators, site teams, and consultants.
- Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site conditions and installation details.
Requirements
- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in mechanical drafting, preferably in UAE MEP projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP is an advantage.
- Good understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork, piping layouts, and MEP coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong coordination skills and the ability to meet project deadlines.
