Job Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical shop drawings, installation drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop lighting, power, emergency lighting, and small power layouts.
- Prepare cable tray, cable routing, containment, and earthing layouts.
- Prepare single-line diagrams (SLD), electrical schematics, and panel schedules as required.
- Coordinate electrical drawings with HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other MEP services.
- Review drawings against approved design drawings, project specifications, and consultant requirements.
- Incorporate consultant comments and revise drawings according to project requirements.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable UAE regulations and project standards.
- Coordinate with electrical engineers, MEP coordinators, site teams, and consultants.
- Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site installation details.
Requirements
- Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical drafting, preferably in the UAE.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP is an advantage.
- Good understanding of electrical layouts, wiring diagrams, cable routing, and MEP coordination.
- Familiarity with UAE electrical standards and authority requirements.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and coordinate with project teams.
