Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, or Structural) is required. Must be proficient in ANSYS. Must be able to provide clear, concise, accurate and timely written and verbal communication. Must be a strong team player with the ability to develop effective relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers. Must possess the ability and attitude to learn a variety of new procedures, processes and tools. Must be able to effectively prepare and deliver technical calculations, reports, and presentations. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) or Department of Defense (DOD) security clearance, whichever is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in Solidworks. Knowledgeable in ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Standard. Experience in ASME Section III and Section VIII of the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.
