- Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Engineering + 4 years of related industry experience Registered Professional Engineer of Ontario designation or working towards is an asset Proficient knowledge of materials and field execution practices. Proficient knowledge of Non Destructive Examination applications and limitations. Proficient knowledge of Nuclear Codes ASME III, V, VIII,IX, N285. Proficient knowledge of Nuclear Standards N286, N299. Proficient knowledge of welding techniques. Proficient writing of technical reports. Professional level English verbal and written communication skills with an understanding of engineering technical language. Working proficiency in Computer Aided Design. Proficient knowledge in of Human Performance prevention tools. Proficient knowledge of Foreign Material Exclusion and the prevention practices. Ability to translate complex technical requirements and instructions into field executable procedures. Ability to train engineers, technicians, and trades in technically complex operations. Experienced and Proficient in executing work on critical path. Experienced and Proficient in providing work direction on critical path. Must have a valid driver’s license and mode of transportation. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
