Materials Processor

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Six (6) months previous experience in Mail Services or Shipping/Receiving environment.
• Six (6) months experience with electronic mailing/metering equipment.
• Minor mechanical mobility necessary.
• Must be familiar with wrapping/binding equipment.
• Ability to operate a calculator, letter opening machines and metering equipment, all UPS Applications Basic knowledge of PC skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with employees and clients.
• Must have knowledge of corporate mail code system, U.S. Postal Regulations, claim forms and specialized department forms.
• Must have knowledge of, corporate organizational structure, ordering stock, department policies and procedures.
• Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.
• Basic knowledge of warehousing activities necessary to perform related duties in a safe expeditious manner.
• Must be able to handle mobile power equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to seventy (70) pounds.
• Required to work in cold climate during winter months.
