Materials Engineer
to join our growing
Leisure Division

About the Role
You will play a pivotal role in our project lifecycle, serving as the bridge between technical specifications and on-site execution.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all materials used in our landscaping projects meet the highest quality standards, comply with project specifications, and are processed through the necessary approvals in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- **Material Submittals:**
- Prepare, compile, and submit comprehensive Material Approval Requests (MAS) to consultants and clients.
- **Documentation Management:**
- Maintain accurate project records, technical submittals, and compliance documentation.
- **Quality Assurance:**
- Review materials against project specifications to ensure compliance before procurement.
- **Project Coordination:**
- Liaise effectively between internal project teams, suppliers, and external consultants to ensure smooth project progression.
- **Compliance:**
- Ensure all documentation adheres to local and international standards relevant to the landscaping and leisure sector.
Requirements
- **Experience:**
- Minimum of
- 2 years
- of professional experience as a Materials Engineer.
- **Sector Specifics:**
- Extensive and verifiable experience in the Landscaping field is mandatory.
- You must understand the nuances of both hardscape and softscape materials.
- **Documentation Skills:**
- Exceptional proficiency in preparing project-related documents and technical submittals.
- **Attention to Detail:**
- Meticulous approach to reviewing specs and meeting deadlines.
- **Communication:**
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with consultants and stakeholders.
