Materials Controller

Location: Paneltex Ltd, Somerden Road, Hull, HU9 5PE Salary: From £13.00 per hour DOE Hours: 40 per week. Paneltex is looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Materials Operative to join our busy warehouse and materials team.

The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring materials are picked, managed and delivered to our production areas on time and in full. Working as part of a team, you will use our WMS scanning system to pick stock from multiple locations, replenish materials and deliver items to production and other areas across the site.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards, works well as part of a team and can organise their workload effectively in a busy environment.

Flexibility to work additional hours and overtime when required will be expected.

We are looking for someone who is organised, dependable and has a positive approach to their work. You will be comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment and able to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.

Ideally, you will have:

Previous experience working with a WMS system.

Experience of line feeding within a manufacturing or production environment.

An understanding of warehouse storage solutions and materials handling processes.

Good verbal, written, telephone and electronic communication skills.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with email and standard computer packages.

The ability to understand and follow instructions accurately.

Good organisational and time-management skills.

A strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements.

A positive work ethic and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Excellent timekeeping and attendance.

A flexible approach to working additional hours when required.

The physical capability to carry out manual handling and lifting duties safely.

A willingness to learn about our products, processes and systems.
