About This Role
Overview
- Review project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to identify required
- wood, joinery, finishes, hardware, and accessories
- Prepare and submit
Material Technical Submittals (MTS)
- for consultant and client approval
- Coordinate with
- suppliers, manufacturers, and internal factory teams
- to collect datasheets, certificates, samples, and mockups
- Track all submissions using the
Material Submittal Log (MSL)
- and ensure timely follow-ups
- Respond to consultant/client comments and manage revisions until final approval
- Ensure materials comply with project standards (fire ratings, finishes, sustainability, LEED requirements if applicable)
- Coordinate with the procurement team to confirm approvals before material ordering
- Work closely with production and site teams to ensure only
- approved materials
- are used on site
What Were Looking For
Diploma or Bachelors degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
3–4 years of experience in material submittals within wood factories, joinery, or interior fit-out projects
Good understanding of wood materials, finishes, hardware, and joinery systems
Familiarity with consultant approval processes and construction documentation
Comfortable using MS Excel, Word, and PDF editing tools
