Parsons is seeking a Materials Inspector for an infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi.
What you will do
- Check site conditions for suitability prior to construction.
- Observe, check, and record whether work is executed in accordance with approved methods; check that instructions are followed.
- Record inspections, tests, and work executed.
- Check that delivered materials are approved and properly stored.
- Observe site safety procedures and measure work done when required.
- Assist in reviewing shop drawings and reviewing and preparing as-built drawings.
Required skills and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in any discipline.
- At least three years of overall experience in infrastructure projects.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of current civil engineering technology and its effective use on the project.
- Knowledge of construction of large civil/structural and/or industrial projects.
