- Prepare, submit, and track Material Submittals (MAS) for client and consultant approvals.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain samples, quotations, technical data sheets, and compliance documents.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQ to ensure material compliance with project requirements.
- Evaluate interior fit-out materials including finishes, joinery, furniture, flooring, ceiling, wall finishes, and decorative elements.
- Ensure all submitted materials comply with UAE authority regulations, fire safety standards, and project specifications.
- Maintain material approval trackers and ensure timely follow-up with consultants and project teams.
- Coordinate with procurement, design, estimation, and site teams for material selection and approvals.
- Conduct site inspections to verify materials delivered and installed match approved samples and specifications.
- Support value engineering initiatives by proposing cost-effective alternative materials without compromising quality and design intent.
- Attend consultant/client meetings related to material approvals and technical clarifications.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of approved/rejected materials and technical submissions.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure material approvals are aligned with construction schedules.
