Requirements
- Has experience in digital marketing, social media management or community engagement.
- Knows TikTok, Instagram and Facebook inside out.
- Is familiar with other platforms such as X, Threads, Snapchat, Reddit and Substack.
- Is skilled in content production and scheduling tools (e.g. Agorapulse, Sprout, Meta Business Suite).
- Understands social media analytics and how to use insights to evolve strategies.
- Communicates confidently, writes excellent copy and has a feel for impactful storytelling.
- Is familiar with influencer culture and experienced in building partnerships with creators.
- Is trend-savvy and excited by new platforms, features and ways to capture attention.
- Is proactive, fast-moving and comfortable working in a bold, disruptive campaign environment.
- Brings experience in farmed animal advocacy or nonprofit campaigning.
- Is passionate about Project Slingshot's mission and hungry to play a part in ending factory farming.
- Audience size and engagement growing across platforms.
- Content goes out consistently and on schedule, with quality holding up under pace.
- Our community is active, well looked after, and growing.
- A working roster of influencer and creator relationships is delivering real amplification.
- Social performance is tracked, reported and used to change what we make next.
Benefits
- Location: Remote, US,, with some travel for in-person meetings
- Reports to: Marketing Director (US)
- Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000. Placement within the range is based on experience and location.
