About the Job

As a Marketing Manager, you are responsible for achieving the hotel and leisure assets operating goals by developing and implementing an ongoing focused media and marketing communications plan under the direction of the Area Director, Marketing.

Implementation of marketing and promotional strategies for the positioning of the property as highly desirable to its identified target markets and within the parameters set.

In addition, overlook the day-to-day operation of the department together with associated tasks and duties as assigned.

Planning / Budgeting / Strategy

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital, public relations, marketing and communications strategy aligned with the approved marketing plan for Aldhafra Resort and leisure assets with the guidance/support of the Area Director of Marketing
  • Conduct market research to identify needs, opportunities, trends and competitive landscape
  • Develop, implement and manage the overall content strategy/direction of the assets along with the guidance and support of the Area Director of Marketing
  • Assist and support the Area Director of Marketing in identifying the yearly budgetary requirements and monthly expense forecast
  • Actively seek growth opportunities and identify gaps in the digital landscape to ensure a forward-thinking and comprehensive digital marketing strategy
  • Monitor, analyze and measure the performance of digital marketing campaigns to ensure maximum profitability / ROAS
  • Identify and follow through PR/brand/sponsorship opportunities with the support of the PR agency

Brand, PR & Content Management

  • Oversees and manages the communication with external partners, creative, social media and PR agencies to ensure accurate, quality, timely production and placement of material
  • Reviews and proofreads the press releases, property and facility descriptions, corporate and promotional communications along with the guidance of the Area Director of Marketing
  • Implement brand messaging, tone of voice and visual identity guidelines to ensure consistency and authenticity across all touchpoints
  • Create compelling copies for marketing and communication assets and content to effectively convey the brand message and engage the target audience
  • Work closely with the creative team by providing detailed briefs and ensuring creative deadlines are met
  • Manage and oversee the brand identity and brand reputation of the hotels
  • Oversee influencer marketing strategy and host media fam trips

Social

  • Work closely with the agency to develop and implement comprehensive social media marketing strategies to achieve the department’s objectives (Brand awareness, audience growth, lead generation and revenue)
  • Oversee and manage social media channels and campaigns, including content calendar planning, scheduling, posting and community engagement with the support of the agency
  • Monitor social media trends, best practices and emerging platforms to stay ahead of the curve and identify new opportunities for engagement

Operations

  • Oversees and manages the timely execution of marketing campaigns across various channels (Online and offline)
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback to the team to foster continuous improvement along with the support/guidance of the Area Director of Marketing
  • Work closely with other hotel departments to ensure marketing strategies are aligned with overall business objectives and operational capabilities
  • Regular reporting to senior management or stakeholders on marketing ROI and other key performance indicators
  • Carry out additional tasks or responsibilities as required

About You

  • Master’s degree/diploma in business, marketing, communications, or related field
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Marketing, preferably in the hospitality industry and at least 2-3 years of experience as a Marketing Manager, cluster experience, preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management tools, email marketing software, analytics platforms and content management systems
  • Creativity and innovative thinking to develop distinctive marketing campaigns that differentiate the hotel from competitors
  • Experience with digital marketing channels such as social media, email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), SEM and other online advertising
  • Strong analytical skills to assess marketing performance, conduct market research and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and allocating resources effectively
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing marketing strategies that have increased brand awareness and revenue in both F&B and rooms
  • Knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics and competitor strategies to inform marketing decisions and stay ahead of the curve
  • Strong project management skills to effectively plan, execute and evaluate marketing initiatives within deadlines and budget constraints
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and achieving measurable outcomes
  • Good leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
