The role owns Build's market intelligence, tracking capacity, land and asset values, and development activity.
Research will inform clients, domain experts, and AI workflows; the role works closely with geospatial and data engineering teams.
What you will own
- Cover data center, power, industrial, and institutional real estate markets in the US and Europe, including supply, demand, pipeline, pricing, and transactions.
- Create market reports, site and submarket briefs, and client-ready analysis for live deals.
- Find and evaluate public, proprietary, and alternative data sources and work with engineering to integrate them into the platform.
- Ensure figures behind site and market views are accurate, current, and defensible.
- Turn recurring research questions into workflows and checks that AI can run at scale.
Potential background and skills
- Possible backgrounds include research teams in data center, energy, or capital markets; real estate or infrastructure data companies; or strategy and due diligence work screening markets and sites across geographies.
- Strong spreadsheet and data-tool skills.
- SQL or Python is a strong plus.
