• Conduct regular vessel inspections and audits, identifying deficiencies and implementing corrective actions to maintain operational efficiency.
• Manage the technical budget, controlling costs and ensuring efficient allocation of resources for vessel operations and maintenance.
• Investigate marine incidents, determining root causes and implementing preventative measures to avoid recurrence.
• Provide technical support and guidance to onboard crew, resolving operational issues and promoting best practices.
• Ensure that vessels are operated in a safe and environmentally responsible manner, complying with all relevant regulations.
• Monitor vessel performance, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and optimize operational efficiency.
• Manage and coordinate the procurement of spare parts and stores, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
