Overview
Responsible for managing vessel logistics associated with the timely and safe transportation of personnel and equipment to ensure company operations run seamlessly.
Craft and implement strategic plans to streamline vessel logistics within the company's operational framework.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize vessel resource deployment, and equipment allocation.
Ensures all loading and offloading and mooring operations are conducted safely and effectively.
Manage unforeseen challenges, such as adverse weather or equipment malfunctions, with minimal operational disruption.
Supervise the inventory of vessel resources and equipment, facilitating prompt replenishments and maintenance as needed.
Review qualifications of marine crew.
Liaise with vessel logistics and port controller for the advance Assignments booking and allocation of suitable berths for vessels.
Skills
Bachelor’s degree in marine engineering, Nautical Sciences, Engineering, or related discipline or Chief Officer/2nd Engineer COC.
Minimum 1O years of experience in marine and port management
