Job Summary

• The Rig Company Man represents the operating company on the drilling site and is responsible for supervising all drilling and related operations.
• This role ensures that activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory standards.
• Supervise and coordinate all drilling, completion, and workover activities on site
• Ensure operations are conducted in accordance with approved drilling programs
• Monitor daily drilling performance, costs, and progress
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards
• Act as the primary liaison between the operator, drilling contractor, and service companies
• Approve operational procedures and authorize changes when required
• Ensure proper maintenance and use of drilling equipment
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate daily reports and operational records
• Manage logistics including materials, personnel, and equipment supply
