YOUR IMPACT STARTS HERE
We’re looking for a Manufacturing Trainer to join our team in West Jordan, Utah — someone who brings real instructional expertise, not just shop floor familiarity. In this role, you’ll own the full training lifecycle for our production workforce: assessing skill gaps, designing and delivering hands-on training for welders and machine operators, and partnering with instructional designers to build structured process documentation and learning materials that stick. You’ll work directly with shop employees to build competency in welding processes (GMAW-P, GTAW, carbon and stainless), machinery operation, and coating, while contributing to SOPs and visual job aids that support long-term workforce development across the facility. This is an opportunity to make a lasting impact on how our team grows and performs.
WHAT YOU’LL BUILD & OWN
Evaluate employees and identify weaknesses in production skills.
Identify and conduct training tailored to individual skill levels.
Work directly with shop employees to build new skills across the manufacturing process, including coating.
Present technical data and training requirements through PowerPoint presentations and short videos.
Encourage employees toward training and identify potential candidates for progression.
Track employee success and progress throughout training.
Support the rollout and communication of all training programs on a timely basis.
Prepare and deliver manufacturing training sessions, measuring effectiveness based on success rate.
Train and help develop employees on the operation of specific machinery.
Train employees and maintain records for forklift and crane certifications.
Support the FEM/5S program as needed.

- Strong shop math and blueprint-reading skills, robotic welding/programming experience, and solid problem-solving capabilities.
