Qualifications

  • REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering preferred. Will accept experience in lieu of a degree
  • Strong abilities to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
  • Understand and interpret Bills of Materials / Parts Lists
  • Use of common office desktop software
  • Good written and oral communications
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • PREFFERED EXPERIENCE:
  • Understands development to manufacturing processes
  • Experience in product life cycle (such as transition from development to production)
  • Understanding of development-to-manufacturing processes and New Product Introduction (NPI). Experience with product life cycle activities, such as transition from development to production and sustaining engineering.
  • Background with PDM/PLM systems (configuration management, document control) is a plus.
  • Prior exposure to a manufacturing or production environment.
