What You'll Do

• Identify and extract data from SMT lines, AOI, AXI, and functional test fixtures.
• Work with equipment vendors to obtain data access or develop custom reporting exports.
• Parse and clean flat-file data, including CSV, XML, and JSON, and data from MES databases.
• Develop and maintain reports for FPY, parametric test trends, and process capability (Cpk).
• Visualize data distributions to help engineers identify drift during prototyping and manufacturing.
• Use Python scripts or BI tools to automate reporting and replace manual Excel workflows.
• Standardize reporting formats across product lines.
• Present findings to Engineering and NPI teams to help drive design changes that improve manufacturability.

What You'll Bring

• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience; electronics experience is preferred.
• A degree in Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Advanced Python knowledge, including Pandas, NumPy, and OpenPyXL, for parsing raw flat-file data.
• SQL query experience extracting data from MES or local SQL Express instances.
• Ability to transition manual copy-and-paste processes into automated pipelines.
• Experience navigating proprietary machine software to locate and export data logs from SMT, AOI, and functional test equipment.
• Familiarity with the pace and data variability of NPI.
• Ability to communicate technical data requirements to equipment manufacturers.
• Solid grasp of mean, standard deviation, and variance; expert ability to interpret FPY, RTY, Cp, and Cpk.
• Ability to analyze continuous data such as voltage, timing, and resistance to detect trends before failures.
• Teamwork, punctuality, good attendance, reliability, and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Compensation

• Base pay is determined within a range based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
