A UAE transportation and mobility organization seeks an experienced Manager - Workforce Mobilization to lead workforce deployment for large-scale fleet operations.
The role ensures drivers, supervisors, and other operational personnel are available, ready, allocated, and deployed to meet business and transportation requirements.
Mobilization and workforce planning
- Lead workforce mobilization for large-scale transportation and mobility operations.
- Plan deployment and readiness of drivers, supervisors, and operational personnel across fleet types and locations.
- Develop plans based on fleet size, demand, routes, contracts, and service requirements.
- Manage onboarding, allocation, deployment, replacement, and workforce coverage; support new contracts, projects, fleet expansions, and transitions.
Operations and performance
- Coordinate with Fleet Operations, HR, Recruitment, Training, and other stakeholders to ensure workforce readiness.
- Monitor workforce availability, utilization, productivity, attendance, and operational coverage; anticipate gaps and plan contingencies.
- Establish and monitor workforce KPIs and SLAs and report operational performance to management.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, company policies, safety requirements, and operational standards.
- Lead and develop the Workforce Mobilization team.
Qualifications and experience
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Requires 8+ years in transportation, fleet operations, workforce mobilization, or large-scale manpower deployment.
- Requires experience managing workforce requirements for large, diverse fleets and mobilizing drivers, supervisors, and operational personnel.
- Requires understanding of transportation operations, fleet requirements, workforce planning, and operational readiness.
- Requires experience with high-volume operations across multiple fleet types, locations, routes, and service requirements.
- Requires strong leadership, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills and stakeholder coordination ability.
- UAE transportation and mobility sector experience is highly desirable.
