About The Role

• We are seeking a Product Designer to join our team focusing on the Digital Consumer Travel experience.
• You will work in a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, and other designers to turn problems and opportunities into meaningful and impactful experiences.
• This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs and behaviors, business objectives and market trends, and systems knowledge.

• Profile requirements:
• You have 4-8 years of product design experience within a consumer focused organization and a proven record of successfully shipped mobile and web experiences.
• You demonstrate a deep understanding of product strategy and business requirements, with a strong focus on addressing customers’ needs and pain points.
• You are a design thinker and problem solver at heart, and you consistently strive to gain a deep understanding of the customers, business, and problems you are trying to solve.
• You can take a vaguely defined problem space and bring structure to it without waiting to be handed a brief.
• You have the necessary communication skills to tell a story about your work and communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• You possess excellent visual design skills and are proficient in design, prototyping, and whiteboarding tools. You have experience working with and contributing to a design system.
• You love working with other designers and cross-functional team members and thrive on transparency and effective communication.
• You have an online portfolio or PDF you can share with us. Please include up to 3 projects that best represent your design thinking process and demonstrate the impact of your work.
• Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
• Proven experience with design and prototyping tools
• Proven experience with qualitative research: interviewing users, running surveys and usability tests, and interpreting results
• Proven experience using data and analytics to inform design decisions
• Proven experience working in iterative product teams (not agency); e-commerce a plus
• English at high proficiency required; Arabic a plus

Responsibilities

• You will help shape the product roadmap, bringing design and customer insight early enough to influence what the team builds, not just how it looks once decided.
• You will improve how the team works, raising the bar on design quality, craft, and process, and helping establish patterns and rituals that make the whole team better
• You will translate opportunities into elegant, intuitive solutions, weighing business needs, technical constraints, data, and other requirements to deliver real customer and business value.
• You will work in a fast-paced team of engineers, product managers, and designers to uncover customer problems and deliver impactful solutions across multiple web and mobile platforms.
• You will rapidly and pragmatically produce concepts and prototypes, understanding when further ideation, testing, or changing directions is needed.
• You will drive iterative testing and experimentation to validate hypotheses, optimize solutions, and maximize impact on KPIs.
