Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop platform engineers across career stages and geographies.

Qualifications

Experience leading and developing software or platform engineering teams, including distributed or cross-functional teams.
Recent technical experience with cloud-native software, developer platforms, infrastructure automation, distributed systems, or related domains.
Product mindset, with ability to prioritize internal developer needs and measure platform outcomes.
Experience using data and metrics to guide investment and continuous improvement.
Ability to engage deeply in technical discussions without taking ownership from engineers.
Experience balancing delivery, reliability, security, compliance, cost, and maintainability.
Strong written and verbal communication across engineering, product, and executive audiences.
Commitment to coaching, feedback, psychological safety, and inclusive practices.

Additional experience that gives an edge

Internal developer platforms, platform-as-a-product, or paved-road engineering experiences.
AWS or another major cloud provider; containers and orchestration; infrastructure as code; GitOps; CI/CD; or observability.
Policy-as-code, identity and access management, service catalogs, developer portals, governance, or platform adoption metrics.
Platform telemetry, developer insights, cloud cost optimization, FinOps, or engineering economics.
Responsible generative AI enablement and security, compliance, or auditability embedded in engineering workflows.

Compensation
