Job Purpose
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth through customer acquisition and engagement with a focus on supply chain logistics solutions selling in a B2B environment.
Additionally, the role will be responsible for managing and mentoring Sales Specialists / Executives for growing within GCC / MENA regions.
Responsibilities
- Formulate, recommend, and execute sales strategies for all services in the Logistics Cluster.
- Grow the market share in the region by building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in target organizations
- Lead and direct the sales and bookings in collaboration with customer service team to ensure that sales targets are achieved through the efficient implementation of approved sales and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with the product team to provide feedback and insights on market trends and customer needs
- Execute plans and programs as directed by the Commercial Director
- Oversee and manage an efficient and sales team with focus on driving appropriate logistics solution in the right markets
- Form day-to-day sales strategies to meet targets, and keep the company competitive and innovative.
- Serve as the company’s business representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, expositions (as may be directed by the Chief Commercial Officer).
- Form sales plans to effectively address emerging changes or shifts in key markets or sectors.
- Evaluate and formulate career development plans for the sales team.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure that clients’ expectations are met and service commitments are delivered.
- Ensure the maximum utilization of company assets and equipment at all times
- Prepare appropriate presentations for pitching the company and its product value proposition to the target audiences at all times
- Prepare commercially competitive and technically sound proposals with the objective of maximizing wins.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 8 – 10 years experience
