Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive road safety management plans that align with the company's strategic goals
• Conduct risk assessments and road safety audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement
• Collaborate with design teams to integrate road safety principles into all infrastructure projects
• Monitor and analyze traffic data to inform road safety initiatives and mitigate risks
• Engage with local authorities, stakeholders, and the community to promote road safety awareness and compliance
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate road safety issues, findings, and recommendations to management and stakeholders
• Lead training sessions and workshops to educate employees and contractors on road safety practices and protocols
• Stay current with industry trends, technology, and best practices related to road safety management
• Foster a culture of safety throughout the organization by promoting road safety initiatives and practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in road safety management, traffic engineering, or related fields
• Proven track record of developing and implementing effective road safety programs
• Strong knowledge of local and international road safety standards, guidelines, and practices
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret traffic data and identify safety trends
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders
• Experience with traffic simulation and road safety audit methodologies
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
