Apply risk-management practices to identify, assess, treat, and monitor risks.
Principal accountabilities
- Ensure work complies with sanctions, approvals, credit policy, and procedures.
- Monitor Retail CAD staff performance.
- Review retail facility letters and facility documentation against approval terms.
- Check executed home-loan security documents against approved terms and conditions.
- Release limits to Loan Operations after facility and security documents are perfected.
- Archive obsolete documents periodically and manage safe custody and scanning of executed security documents.
- Maintain collateral databases and records in bank systems, with follow-up and monthly reporting.
- Manage IFRS and ECL/BASAL collateral reporting, security-exception MIS, and collateral activities.
- Maintain documentation standards and meet turnaround times.
- Track deferrals, follow up overdue cases, and escalate them to relevant committees.
- Manage EIRC registration and CBRB CCSYS 2 for retail.
- Report operational risk, fraud, and AML issues to relevant parties in a timely manner.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 5–10 years of management experience handling retail documentation in a CAD division.
