Role overview
Manager - Procurement in the Commercial Department, based in Indore MPCG.
The role covers Capex and Opex procurement, imports and customs clearance, inventory management, and contract management.
Key responsibilities
- Renew rate contracts and vendor agreements, and maintain vendor contracts in SAP Ariba.
- Coordinate e-bidding and forward and reverse auctions; prepare spend and savings analyses.
- Review open SLAs, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and inventory with network and non-network stakeholders.
- Maintain the vendor database and manage non-network procurement, including retail-store repairs and supplies.
- Manage cluster SIM inventory, track open orders and requisitions, and maintain savings reports.
- Conduct contractor meetings and guide vendors on health, safety, and compliance.
- Coordinate import and customs clearance, shipment documents, letters of credit, and records of items cleared under protest.
- Track WPC licenses for imported network equipment.
Requirements
- The role covers procurement of Capex and Opex materials, inventory management, contract management, and imports and customs clearance.
- Coordinate procurement and commercial activities with network and non-network stakeholders and vendors.
- Support customs clearance of mobility and enterprise shipments, including coordination with corporate and CHA teams.
