Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients in the import/export sector
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with key clients
  • Developing and implementing customized logistics solutions to meet client requirements
  • Meeting sales targets and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the company
  • Conducting regular business reviews with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborating with other departments within the company to ensure seamless service delivery to key clients
  • Managing client contracts and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Providing regular sales reports to management
  • Educational background / Work experience
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is required
  • A Master's degree in Business or Logistics is preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience in a sales or account management role, with a focus on logistics and import/export, is preferred
  • Skills & Competencies
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of transportation and logistics regulations and laws is preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in managing key accounts in the logistics and import/export sector is preferred
  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Management and development of direct reports
  • Share department account goals with the team and maintain assessments planning and development
  • Ability to hold oneself and others accountable.
  • Language skills
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Computer Literacy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software tools.

  • For this position, the expected base pay range is $80,000.00 – $93,000.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
