Responsibilities
- Manager (M2) – GFO Reporting & Analytics / Operational Reporting Manager
- This role is critical to lead and scale GFO’s operational reporting and analytics capabilities across multiple business functions. The Operational Reporting Manager will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into scalable reporting solutions, driving dashboard development and automation, strengthening data and reporting governance, and ensuring reporting delivers actionable insights that support operational and leadership decision-making.
- The role will manage a team of reporting and analytics professionals while partnering across business, application, data, and BI organizations to drive end-to-end delivery—from requirements and data validation through development, UAT, deployment, and ongoing operational support.
- A key expectation is to advance the organization’s AI and automation strategy for reporting. The manager should have practical experience leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to automate reporting processes, accelerate development and testing, improve data validation, generate insights, and reduce manual dependencies. The role will identify high-value AI use cases and establish scalable, governed approaches for adoption across the reporting portfolio.
- Key accountabilities include:
- Lead GFO operational reporting and analytics strategy, execution, and continuous improvement.
- Own delivery and enhancement of enterprise dashboards, operational KPIs, lifecycle reporting, and detailed analytics.
- Translate business needs into clearly defined data, reporting, KPI, and technical requirements.
- Drive reporting automation and AI adoption to improve scalability, productivity, data validation, and speed to delivery.
- Establish and maintain reporting governance, including KPI definitions, business logic, data quality, security, documentation, and change controls.
- Partner with business leadership and technical organizations to manage cross-functional dependencies, priorities, risks, and delivery commitments.
- Manage multiple concurrent initiatives while balancing business impact, team capacity, technical dependencies, and operational priorities.
- Lead, coach, and develop reporting professionals while establishing clear ownership, accountability, and succession coverage.
Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise BI platforms such as Oracle Analytics Cloud/OACS, Data Visualization, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent technologies.
- Experience with Agile delivery and work-management tools such as Jira, SharePoint, Confluence, or equivalent platforms.
