Role Overview

The Flight Operations Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end flight booking operations, ensuring seamless coordination of travel arrangements, financial accuracy, and stakeholder satisfaction. The role requires strong expertise in Global Distribution Systems (GDS), vendor management, and operational reporting, with a high emphasis on precision and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end flight booking operations using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo

• Perform financial reconciliation of flight ticket invoices , ensuring accuracy and alignment with budgets and contractual agreements

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with airlines, travel partners, and vendors to optimize service delivery and commercial terms

• Handle delegate and VIP travel requirements , including special requests, upgrades, rebookings, and last-minute changes

• Monitor and manage flight schedules, disruptions, and operational changes , ensuring timely communication and resolution

• Generate and maintain flight status reports, booking reports, and operational dashboards for internal stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, travel guidelines, and financial controls

• Support cross-functional coordination with guest management, logistics, and hospitality teams

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in travel management, airline operations, or hospitality operations

• Strong proficiency in GDS platforms (Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo); certification is highly preferred

• Proven experience in financial reconciliation, invoice validation, and budget tracking

• High attention to detail with strong data accuracy and operational discipline

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle time-sensitive and high-pressure situations

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Fluency in English ; additional languages are an advantage

Preferred Competencies

• Experience managing large-scale events, VIP travel, or group bookings

• Familiarity with travel compliance, fare structures, and airline policies

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic operational environment
