Provide technical and delivery leadership and work with Finance stakeholders, analysts, BI developers, data specialists, and technology teams.
What you will do
- Translate Finance priorities into reporting, analytics, and data solutions.
- Guide design and development across Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL Server, data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL/ELT environments.
- Review solutions for scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.
- Help define financial metrics, KPIs, semantic models, reporting standards, and integration requirements.
- Resolve technical and data-quality challenges; plan delivery, prioritize work, and manage risks and dependencies.
- Coach team members and strengthen governance, documentation, lineage, and data quality.
- Modernize reporting, automate manual processes, and improve the Finance analytics environment.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Approximately 8+ years in business intelligence, analytics, data engineering, enterprise reporting, or related technology areas.
- Demonstrated experience leading delivery of BI, reporting, analytics, or data solutions.
- Hands-on modern BI and data platform knowledge, cross-functional delivery experience, and understanding of Finance processes and data.
Work model and locations
- The stated work model is hybrid.
- Primary location is Toronto, Ontario; additional listed locations are across Canada.
