Manager, Escrow Management

JOB SUMMARY / INTRODUCTION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the daily requests of the escrow department, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of transactions.
• Own product roadmap and prioritize backlog based on business value, risk, and delivery capacity.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
• Assist with test planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), defect triage, and final sign-off.
• Ensure solutions comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standards.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders involved in escrow transactions.
• Ensure all escrow activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Identify and mitigate risks associated with escrow transactions, implementing best practices to safeguard client funds.
• Continuously evaluate and improve escrow processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare and present regular reports on departmental performance, including key metrics and compliance status.
• Monitor and manage the financial aspects of the escrow department, including budgeting and fees collections.
• Prepare all the audit reports and regulators daily requirements.
• Coordinate with the procurement team for processing the vendor invoices and communicate the details of the same to vendor to ensure the timely settlements as per agreement.
• Participate in review of client agreements, service standards and service quality to ensure that we meet and exceed the expectations of our clients.
• Educating the clients about the relevance of Escrow laws and their rights / limitations if any.
• REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
• Required
• Minimum a University Degree.
• Understanding of Escrow laws, regulations and practices as an Escrow agent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Sound Knowledge of Corporate and other Banking products and operations.
• Language proficient: Fluent (business) English, Arabic. Clear written & verbal communication.
• At least 5 years’ experience in Banking, out of which some Corporate/Project Finance experience is preferred.
• Ability to manage high workload within a pressurized environment.
