Manager role in a specialist regulatory function at a financial services regulator in Dubai.
Focuses on investigating misconduct, enforcing the regulatory framework and supporting action for breaches of statutory obligations.
Investigations and enforcement
- Assess misconduct allegations, investigate and identify conduct that may harm the integrity or reputation of the financial services sector.
- Prepare investigation reports, evidence briefs and supporting documentation for potential enforcement action and litigation.
- Support regulatory proceedings and action against individuals or entities breaching laws, regulations or statutory obligations.
- Collaborate with internal supervisory teams and external regulators, law enforcement agencies and prosecution authorities.
- Apply departmental procedures, contribute to risk management and maintain accurate, organised reporting.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in regulatory enforcement, investigations, prosecution or a closely related field.
- Experience investigating misconduct, analysing evidence and preparing case files, investigation reports or evidence briefs.
- Exposure to litigation, prosecution, court procedures or formal regulatory enforcement proceedings.
- Understanding of financial services, regulatory frameworks and investigative processes.
- Strong analytical, legal drafting, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic is advantageous.
