The Role
Leadership position within a Conduct of Business Risk team at a financial services regulator in Dubai.
Oversee a team of supervisors and deliver risk-based supervision across regulated firms, including wealth managers, asset managers, brokers, investment advisers, and funds.
Role combines regulatory supervision, stakeholder engagement, policy development, people leadership, and participation in strategic regulatory projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of supervisors.
- Oversee conduct risk and regulatory compliance across regulated firms.
- Manage regulatory reviews, risk assessments, and supervisory activities.
- Contribute to policy development and regulatory initiatives.
- Engage with senior executives, Boards, industry participants, and regulators.
- Support strategic projects and divisional business planning.
Key Requirements
- 10+ years' experience in regulation, supervision, compliance, risk management, or a related financial services function.
- Strong understanding of financial services regulation and risk-based supervision.
- Previous leadership or people management experience.
