Role overview

What you’ll do

• Lead day-to-day operations across multiple data centre sites, ensuring reliability and customer satisfaction.
• Drive compliance with health and safety policies, governance requirements and operational procedures.
• Oversee maintenance, repairs, upgrades, capacity management and customer service activities.
• Manage site performance against KPIs, customer SLAs and budget objectives.
• Lead incident, event and problem management to reduce service disruption and improve resilience.
• Maintain site documentation, risk registers and asset records in line with company standards.
• Support capacity planning, infrastructure projects and operational improvements.
• Lead and develop managers, engineers and technicians.
• Participate in customer audits, site visits and on-call escalation.

What you’ll need

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline.
• Strong team leadership experience in a mission-critical environment such as data centres, telecommunications, critical infrastructure or industrial power.
• Experience with maintenance management systems, operational governance and project planning.
• Strong understanding of critical infrastructure operations and asset management.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills; excellent problem-solving, prioritisation and decision-making abilities.
• Customer-focused, proactive and results-driven approach.
• ITIL and/or ServiceNow experience is advantageous but not essential.
