Job Summary
We are looking for an ALM Risk Manager To support the identification, measurement and reporting of Asset & Liability Management (ALM) risks, with a focus on IRRBB, liquidity risk, funding structure and balance‑sheet cash‑flow dynamics.
The role contributes quantitative analysis, ALM system outputs and regulatory‑aligned risk metrics to support the Bank’s risk governance, ICAAP/ILAAP and ALCO processes.
ALM Risk Analytics
- Produce IRRBB metrics (EVE, NII sensitivity, repricing gaps) under normal and stress scenarios
- Analyse cash flows for assets, liabilities and off-balance-sheet items
- Apply assumptions for NMDs, prepayments, early redemptions and deposit repricing
- Perform balance-sheet simulations under rate, funding and behavioural stresses
- Support ALCO, IRRBB and ILAAP reporting
Liquidity & Funding Risk
- Analyse funding profile, deposit stability and concentration risk
- Prepare liquidity metrics inputs including cash-flow gaps and stress cash flows
- Support scenario analysis for funding shocks and rollover risk
- Analyse LCR and NSFR movements and key balance-sheet drivers
- Support forward-looking and stressed LCR/NSFR projections
Regulatory & Methodology Support
- Support maintenance of the IRRBB regulatory framework and methodologies
- Assist with ALM model and process documentation for audit and regulatory reviews
- Participate in stress testing and ICAAP/ILAAP quantitative support
ALM Systems & Data
- Support daily operation and maintenance of FIS Balance Sheet Manager (BSM)
- Assist in enhancing ALM analytics, scenarios and reporting capabilities
- Support configuration, testing and implementation of curves, products and behavioural models
- Perform data quality checks between source systems, ALM outputs and ALCO reports
Technical Skills
- Hands‑on experience with ALM systems, ideally FIS Balance Sheet Manager (BSM)
- Understanding of IRRBB concepts
- Understanding of ILAAP framework and balance‑sheet risk dynamics
- Knowledge of bank funding instruments, deposits, loans and securities cash‑flow behaviour
- Familiarity with regulatory expectations for IRRBB, ILAAP and liquidity risk ratios
- Knowledge of bank funding instruments and capital markets products, with understanding of deposits, loans and securities cash‑flow behaviour, repricing dynamics and embedded optionality
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related quantitative discipline
- Strong understanding of banking balance‑sheet concepts, interest‑rate fundamentals and cash‑flow mechanics
Required Experience
- 5 years of experience in ALM Risk, Treasury Risk, Market Risk or Balance‑Sheet Analytics within a banking or financial institution.
