Role overview

Lead the strategy and growth of Capco's UK Data Practice at Managing Principal level.

Lead multidisciplinary practitioners delivering analytics, AI, and data science programmes across Financial Services.

The role combines business development, client engagement, capability growth, proposition innovation, and responsible AI adoption.

What you'll do

  • Shape UK Data Practice growth, contribute to global initiatives, and identify opportunities for AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Develop business opportunities, proposals, and data and AI propositions that create measurable client value.
  • Lead executive client relationships, strategic discussions, and industry representation.
  • Mentor and grow a high-performing team and encourage inclusive innovation and continuous learning.
  • Oversee complex data, analytics, and AI programme delivery, aligning outcomes with commercial, governance, regulatory, and responsible AI expectations.

Required experience and expertise

  • 8+ years of consulting experience and current Senior Management, Director, or Managing Principal-level scope.
  • Proven leadership of large-scale transformation programmes.
  • Success building senior client relationships, strategic partnerships, and data- and AI-related business opportunities.
  • Deep enterprise data expertise across strategy, governance, privacy, analytics, and AI transformation.
  • Strong understanding of data science, AI, Generative AI, MLOps, business intelligence, responsible AI, AI governance, and modern analytics operating models.
  • Experience leading complex Financial Services data transformation and enabling governed AI-enabled ways of working.

Bonus experience

  • Multidisciplinary team leadership across client engagements; programme leadership; organisational change; and executive stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks, cloud data platforms, AI governance standards, and enterprise data management.
  • Thought leadership, proposition development, innovation, recruiting, coaching, and team development experience.
