Overview
A Male Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care, monitoring patients' health conditions, administering treatments, and supporting the overall well-being of patients in accordance with healthcare standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' health conditions and record medical histories.
- Monitor vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide first aid and emergency medical care when required.
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and medical emergencies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care.
- Ensure infection control protocols and hygiene standards are followed.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and coordinate appropriate care.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and report concerns to physicians.
- Support occupational health and safety initiatives in workplace or site clinics.
- Manage medical supplies, equipment, and inventory.
- Coordinate referrals, follow-up appointments, and medical transportation when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, company policies, and ethical nursing practices.
