Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proof of technical training in electronic systems, a certified training program or have completed a 4-year training program in related fields
- 10 years of experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment repairing production machines
- Must show proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and the use of hand tools, power tools, and use of testing equipment such as a VOM
- Must understand blueprints, schematics, specifications, instructions, operation manuals / manufacturers manuals, specifications to perform scheduled and emergency repairs
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC equipment. Dmg Mori, Okuma, Okamoto grinding equipment, brands such as DMG Mori, Okuma Okamoto, Toyoda. 480 volt,120-volt, low voltage, PLC’s
- Must work as part of a team within the department and production areas
- Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures
- Resolves most questions and problems utilizing all resources available and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels
- Works under minimal supervision
- Attends training courses to improve skills to perform repairs on newer machines and equipment
- May include other responsibilities as assigned
