Role Overview

The Maintenance Supervisor manages all engineering and maintenance operations across Capital Motion's portfolio of restaurants and offices.

Focus areas include safety, security, regulatory compliance, asset protection, budgets, capital projects, preventive maintenance, and energy conservation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the physical plant including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, water treatment, and electrical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all local facility regulations and safety standards.
  • Monitor and control utilities and recommend energy-saving methods.
  • Develop and manage service contracts to support operational needs.
  • Distribute and oversee preventive maintenance and repair work orders.
  • Supervise maintenance of facilities including restaurants, public areas, offices, vehicles, and recreational spaces.
  • Develop and execute long-term preventive maintenance and asset protection plans.
  • Lead capital expenditure projects from planning to execution within budget.
  • Liaise with contractors for bids and supervise construction or renovation projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds.
  • Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and equipment and manage procurement.
  • Ensure all building and equipment licenses and certifications are up to date.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or related field).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities or maintenance supervision, preferably in hospitality or F&B.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, kitchen equipment, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience managing multi-site operations is a strong advantage.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies efficiently.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods.

Lift, carry, and transport items up to 50 kg independently.

Perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and climbing stairs.

Manual dexterity to handle tools, equipment, and materials.

Able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments and tolerate exposure to heat, sun, and beachside conditions.

  • Performs other related tasks as assigned by management.
  • Willing to work in Abu Dhabi city.
