Machine Operator

As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that our commercial doors are produced efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery to ensure it functions efficiently and produces high-quality products. Assist in the setup of machines for different production tasks, including adjusting settings and calibrating equipment. Ensure the workplace is clean, safe, and organized at all times, adhering to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.

Perform routine maintenance on machines, including trouble-shooting minor issues and ensuring machinery is in optimal working condition. Work closely with maintenance technicians to identify and resolve any mechanical or electrical issues with the machinery.

Maintain accurate production records, including downtime, maintenance activities, and material usage. Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and improve manufacturing processes.

High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certification in machine operation or a related field.

Experience operating machinery in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Experience with metal fabrication and welding is a plus.

Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in an industrial setting. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Technical Expertise: Proficient in operating and maintaining machinery, with a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
