Machine Learning Engineer

Role Overview

What You Will Do

• Define model-development methodologies and best practices throughout the model lifecycle, including technology stack choices.
• Support productionization and evolution of ML-powered Oracles that guide Prima microservice behavior.
• Develop packages, microservices, pipelines, and other tools needed by the engineer and team.
• Stay current with emerging technology through learning, reading, and experimentation.

What We Are Looking For

• Bring a robust programming background with strong Python capability.
• Have experience across the ML model development lifecycle, including taking models into production.
• Use TDD and BDD practices to produce high-quality, readable, maintainable code.
• Have software architecture experience and understanding of common design patterns.
• Demonstrate expertise in machine learning, microservices, and domain-driven design.
• Have exceptional command of English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with version control for data and artifacts, such as Delta Lake, DVC, or MLflow, is desirable.
• Cloud system design and operations experience, preferably with AWS or Databricks, is desirable.
• Familiarity with messaging platforms, infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, service mesh concepts, and data orchestration tools is desirable.

Compensation

• Salary range is £70,000 to £105,000 per year.
