Logistics Coordinator / Warehouse Keeper
Candidate Profile Requirement:
We are specifically seeking candidates with proven experience in logistics companies, freight forwarding, 3PL providers, courier services, or transportation firms.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, track inventory movements, and ensure optimal stock availability within a structured warehouse environment
- Shipment Coordination: Plan, schedule, and oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
- Logistics Coordination: Liaise with freight forwarders, transport companies, and drivers to manage end-to-end logistics operations
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and manage shipping documents (AWB, delivery notes, invoices), and maintain accurate logistics records
- Compliance & Operations: Ensure all logistics and warehouse activities comply with company procedures and UAE regulations
- Problem Resolution: Handle shipment delays, damages, and discrepancies efficiently with a solution-oriented approach
- Route & Cost Optimization: Coordinate with transport teams to optimize delivery routes and reduce logistics costs
- Systems & Tracking: Utilize WMS, ERP systems, and logistics software for shipment tracking and inventory control
- Warehouse Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment
- Receiving & Dispatch: Verify, inspect, and record incoming and outgoing goods accurately
- Stock Control: Perform regular stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation to ensure inventory accuracy
- Storage Management: Ensure proper storage, handling, and space utilization to prevent damage or loss
- Team Coordination: Support and coordinate warehouse staff and daily operational activities
- Health & Safety: Ensure adherence to warehouse safety standards and operational best practices
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, 3PL, courier, or transportation companies (mandatory)
- Background in warehouse operations, distribution centers, or logistics hubs
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred)
- Strong understanding of shipping processes, transport coordination, and inventory management
- Experience with WMS, ERP systems, and logistics tracking tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
- Ability to manage inbound/outbound shipments and warehouse operations efficiently
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with drivers, transporters, and internal teams
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced logistics environment
- Experience handling warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) is an advantage
- Willingness to work in warehouse conditions when required
